Zo Computer product updates — new features, improvements, and changelog for the personal AI cloud computer.

Product Updates

Week of May 11, 2026

Inline Connect widget — when Zo needs to authorize an integration, it now renders a Connect button inline in chat, instead of routing you to Settings.

Added use_app_microsoft_outlook_calendar — Zo can now read and write events on your Outlook calendar after connecting it from Settings → Integrations.

MCP connections now refresh near-expiry OAuth tokens proactively in-flight.

⌥P (Alt+P) now toggles the chat switcher dropdown, and the dropdown is a filterable combobox — type to filter open chats by title.

The chat composer now sits inside a single scroll area — the gutters flanking the composer card no longer eat mouse-wheel scrolls, and the bottom of the message list fades softly into the composer.

Editor tab strip — fixed stuck active state on duplicate tabs, drop-indicator placement, and assorted drag-and-drop bugs.

Fixed: clicking an in-row action button (in skills, sites, etc.) no longer teleports the selection to the first row.

Fixed: the Providers settings page no longer overflows on mobile — form rows stack and long IDs truncate cleanly.

Fixed a race where a freshly-sent chat message could briefly disappear before the live echo reinserted it.

Free pay-as-you-go — Free users with a working payment method on file can now use premium built-in models, with monthly free allowance consumed first and metered usage taking over after that.

Chat model picker is now a split view with a persistent detail pane — hovering a Subscribers-only model surfaces a real Upgrade CTA, and tapping a gated row routes into the upgrade flow instead of dead-clicking.

Chat now renders dedicated auth, billing, and rate-limit cards when an ACP agent (Claude Code, Codex) surfaces an upstream model error — instead of raw JSON or a generic "Response interrupted," you get a card that explains what's wrong and what to do next.

Connecting X now lands you back where you clicked Connect — the home recommendation chip returns you to chat instead of force-routing through Settings.

MCP OAuth callbacks now bounce back into the desktop app via zo:// instead of stranding you on zo.computer in your default browser.

Desktop app icon refreshed to a black-and-white mark.

MCP integrations – connect hosted MCP servers like Linear, Logfire, PostHog, Notion, Cloudflare, Sentry, and Ahrefs to your Zo so the agent can call their tools. Browse the catalog from Settings → Integrations and connect via OAuth or API key.

You can now drag to resize the left rail, and iOS buttons now produce subtle haptic feedback on tap.

Telegram group replies now trigger Zo only when you reply to a message Zo authored — replying to another human in a bound group no longer accidentally invokes the bot.

Paid plans can now hide the "Built on Zo" badge on their public Space site — toggle it from the new Branding section in Space Settings.

Space Settings is now fully translated into all 12 supported non-English locales.

Model and persona pickers now use a mobile-friendly drawer on small screens, alongside polish to the create and command menus.

Long file mentions in chat now wrap cleanly instead of stretching the message bubble off-screen.

Added DeepSeek V4 Pro and DeepSeek V4 Flash to the model picker, served through Vercel AI Gateway.

The markdown editor body now widens on extra-wide screens — 80ch at xl and 96ch at 2xl, while the frontmatter panel and narrower viewports stay at the previous width.

Week of May 4, 2026

Reworked the Redeem section in Billing to be easier to find — discount-code entry and the surrounding billing widgets got a consistency pass.

Mobile chat now uses a single scroll area — the outer scrollbar that briefly appeared alongside the inner chat scroll has been removed.

File upload and import progress popups now sit just below the mobile tab bar instead of being hidden behind it.

send_discord_message now applies the [host_key.zo.computer] host prefix on channel and thread sends — DM-originated overrides no longer go unsigned.

Telegram bot now replies inside forum topics in groups — @-mentioning Zo in a non-General topic now posts back into that topic instead of falling silent or landing in General.

Telegram connections now self-heal — permanent delivery failures (blocked, kicked, deactivated) short-circuit further sends, and the binding auto-recovers the next time you message Zo.

Zo Space sites now support per-page title, description, and OG image overrides on top of site-level defaults.

Paid plans can now hide the {handle}.zo.space overlay text on auto-generated Space OG cards — toggle it from the OG section of Space settings.

send_slack_message now formats <@USER_ID> mentions correctly from any context — pings from scheduled tasks and skills no longer render as plain text.

Zo now writes user-facing output to /home/workspace by default so finished files show up in your file browser instead of being buried in conversation scratch space.

Fixed the desktop app on Windows rendering a blank content area after minimize/restore.

Empty home page now offers skill-powered prompt chips — tap one to populate the input as Using @<skill>, ..., with inline install/connect status and your draft preserved across OAuth round trips.

Connecting X now reliably returns you to the connections panel after OAuth — fixed a silent failure when the redirect landed on a page without the completion handler.

Reasoning model output now renders as collapsible thinking steps inside chat messages.

Background snapshot jobs no longer compete with active work — queued snapshots are suppressed while a session is busy, and fresh-restart eligibility now survives cooldown windows.

Expired sessions now end cleanly — auth cookies are cleared and the client sees a terminal session-expired state instead of a generic 500.

Long URLs and other unbroken strings now wrap inside the markdown editor instead of forcing horizontal scroll.

Fixed clicking links inside Sites & Services rows — the row's own click handler no longer eats link taps.

You can now long-press a file or folder in the mobile file tree to open its action menu.

Fixed the rightmost tab's close button being unreachable on mobile — the account badge no longer overlaps the tab strip.

Fixed horizontal overflow on the mobile Account page — Payment and Billing tabs no longer scroll wider than the viewport.

More mobile layout polish across automations, sites, persona editing, and the chats list.

Fixed the model picker briefly clobbering Auto when opening or editing an automation — the misleading 'Switched to…' toast no longer fires on mount.

Default Space theme panel now leads with a copyable Ask Zo to update theme prompt above the preset picker.

Added a DuckDB viewer — .duckdb files now open in the same table viewer used for SQLite databases, with paginated rows, sortable/draggable columns, and a refresh button.

SQLite viewer now refreshes alongside chat changes and gained a manual refresh button.

Discord /connect signups now route through OAuth — get_discord_info (guilds, members) works for new connections, and existing token-less bindings repair themselves with one OAuth round-trip.

Fixed the model picker silently reverting your selected per-thread model after app restart — restored selections now stay local to that conversation.

Model picker now toasts when it auto-switches your selected model — silent BYOK fallbacks no longer corrupt your stored preference.

Reworked the default Zo Space app shell with refreshed favicons.

Fixed mobile PWA install — the install button is no longer blocked by the empty-state illustration, and platform install icons have opaque backgrounds.

Fixed keyboard navigation in the model and persona pickers — arrow keys now reliably move through rows.

Fixed desktop app icon sizing.

Fixed imsg send crashing on the desktop app due to a missing PhoneNumberKit bundle.

ACP agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) no longer inherit your provider API keys from zo_secrets — they authenticate via their own login flow only.

Fixed Skills' Setup panel sometimes failing to render in Settings > IntegrationsDISPLAY.json now arrives in the same fetch as SKILL.

publish_site now works from any chat, not just from inside a Zo Site context — pass site_path or let Zo auto-pick, and custom domains get provisioned correctly.

The flight-mode pegasus (Settings > UX easter egg) now tints to match your default persona's hue.

Refreshed mobile chat with a new chats drawer, simplified model picker, and an Install app button for installing the PWA.

Refined the mobile chat input bar — simpler send button, lighter polish.

Streamlined the markdown editor toolbar — reorganized formatting controls.

Refreshed the app's icon set.

Free-plan windowed allowance now also applies to background jobs, image and video generation, browser-use, and audio/video transcription — not just chat.

get_discord_info now supports a members resource — list members from connected Discord servers.

File tree now caps at 200 children per directory with inline pagination and a … and N more drill-in — opening huge folders no longer freezes the Files tab.

Week of Apr 27, 2026

Slack now appears in Settings > AI — pick a per-channel model and persona for Slack messages.

SQLite viewer now supports column sorting and drag-to-reorder columns — your view state persists per table.

Concurrent Claude ACP session limits now scale with plan — Free: 3, Basic: 5, Pro: 10, Ultra: 20.
