No. Your Zo is a real computer that lives in the cloud, with storage and hosting (100 GB+) already in your plan. There's no extra hosting bill and nothing technical to set up.
All you need is Zo.
Build and launch powerful business websites and apps with Zo Computer. No hosting service required.

From ask to live site.
Tell Zo what you want, in plain words. No templates, no site builder.
Your site takes shape in your workspace, wired to your files, data, and automations.
Publish to your own domain. Your Zo hosts it 24/7, no hosting service.
Build anything your business needs.
Think of Zo as your business hub for all your apps, automations, files, data, and more. Build powerful websites on top of all your stuff and own the front and backend of everything you ship.
Host anything on your Zo.
Websites are just the start: your Zo serves full-stack apps, services, and APIs on your own domains. Every Zo account also includes your personal space with your custom handle.
What will you build?
Six shapes of website Zo builds and hosts today.
Launch a branded website for your business, organization, or service. No more generic templates. You control everything, from the font to the metadata.
Create a storefront and accept payment without coding a single line. List items, track orders, and take card payments. Start getting paid in minutes.
Turn your business idea into recurring revenue. Sell ongoing access to your content, tool, or service, and get paid automatically every month.
Create exclusive experiences gated behind user login. Publish live updates, drop new content, and give members a space that’s customized to them.
Manage your customers and team in one place. Build highly customized tools that you control: a customer database that’s hooked up to your automations, lead generation systems, and more.
Build a members-only hub, forum, or resource library. Create custom views by team to run your operations smoothly.
Do I need a separate hosting service?
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Say "point mystudio.com at my site" and Zo handles the DNS records and SSL certificate for you. Three custom domains come with our first paid tier at $18/month.
What is the difference between a website and my Zo Space?
A Space is your personal corner of the internet, included with every Zo at yourname.zo.space, perfect for portfolios, blogs, and little tools. A website is what you build for the world on your own domain: your brand, your storefront, your app. Same Zo, same asking, different ambition.
Do I have to write code?
No. Describe the site the way you would to a designer sitting next to you, and Zo builds it in your workspace. The code is yours though, sitting right there in your files, so the day you (or Zo) want to get your hands dirty, nothing is locked away.
Can I take payments on my site?
Yes. Connect Stripe or Shopify once and ask for what you want: a checkout, a subscription with member accounts, a payment link in an email.
Can Zo host more than static pages?
Yes. Your Zo serves full-stack apps, background services, and APIs beside your pages. If it runs on a server, it can run on yours, because your Zo IS the server.
Does my site stay up when I close my laptop?
Yes. On our Basic Plan ($18 a month), your server never goes to sleep. Your Zo is a cloud computer, not an app on your laptop, so it keeps serving your site, running your automations, and answering your customers at 3am while you sleep.
