Agents are tasks that Zo runs for you on a schedule — daily briefings, weekly reports, recurring reminders, whatever you need on autopilot.
Ask Zo to make one
The fastest way — paste something like this in chat:
Create an agent that summarizes my unread emails every morning at 8am and texts me a digest
Zo builds the agent, sets the schedule, and activates it. Done.
To open the Agents UI from chat:
I want to set up an agent
Or create one manually
Step 1: Open the Agents tab
Click Agents in the left sidebar, or use the prompt above.
Step 2: Write your instruction
Be specific about what the agent should do. Good instructions include:
- What to do — "Summarize my unread emails"
- How to format — "As a bullet list, max 5 items"
- What tone — "Keep it casual and brief"
Example you can paste or adapt:
Check my Gmail for unread emails from the last 12 hours. Summarize the top 5 by importance in a short bullet list. Include the sender and a one-line summary for each.
Step 3: Set the schedule
Use the recurrence options to pick when it runs — daily, weekly, hourly, or custom. In chat you can say:
Run this every weekday at 7:30am
Step 4: Choose a delivery method
Pick how you want the results — email, SMS, or Telegram. The agent sends its output directly to you.
Step 5: Save and test
Save and activate your agent. Hit Test Run to preview how Zo will respond before the first scheduled run. Tweak the instruction until it's right.
Step 6: Monitor and iterate
After a few runs, review the output. Too verbose? Too vague? Edit the instruction anytime — your agent evolves with you.
Ideas to get started
Try asking Zo to create agents like these:
Create a daily agent that sends me a morning briefing: calendar for today, top unread emails, and the weather
Create a weekly agent every Monday that summarizes my Linear issues due this week
Create an agent that drafts 3 social post ideas every Sunday evening and emails them to me
Create a nightly agent that summarizes emails I missed today and texts me a short digest
