How to Send Emails with Zo

Zo can draft, review, and send emails for you — or send emails to you for reminders, notes, and automations.

Quick Start

Prompt

Draft an email to alex@example.com about the project update. Mention we're on track for the Friday deadline and include a summary of this week's progress.

Zo shows you a preview before sending anything. You always get final say.

Steps

Step 1: Connect Gmail

Go to Settings > Integrations > Gmail and authorize Zo to access your Gmail account. Choose between read-only or read-and-write access — write access lets Zo send on your behalf.

Step 2: Ask Zo to draft an email

Prompt

Draft an email to alex@example.com about the project update. Mention that we're on track for the Friday deadline.

Step 3: Review the preview

Zo shows you the recipient, subject line, and body before anything is sent. You'll always get a chance to approve.

Step 4: Request edits

Not quite right? Ask for changes:

Prompt

Make the tone more casual and add a line thanking them for their help this week

Step 5: Confirm and send

Once you approve, Zo sends it through your connected Gmail.

Bonus: Send yourself an email

Prompt

Send me an email with a summary of today's meeting notes
